Automotive Service Advisor

Serving as the primary point-of-contact for all automotive service and repair matters, the Service Advisor must listen and thoroughly understand customer problems, arrange for an appropriate service level, and set/manage expectations on the part of the customers and the technicians in terms of service delivery.
The ideal candidate for this position has some post-secondary automotive training, at least one year of dealer-level or large facility experience, and a strong mechanical aptitude. He or she is certified by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) or is willing to obtain certification, has an unrestricted driver''s license and a clean driving record, and has a strong technical and customer service performance record.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
