In-home Autism Support Therapist or Counselor (Staunton/Harrisonburg)
A rise in autism rates has led to a growing need for effective care for children and their families who are faced with the challenges of autism. Compass is a family-focused counseling group in the Staunton and Harrisonburg area providing clinical services to children and families who live with the impact of autism. We are looking for mental health clinicians who have an interest in working within our Autism Support Program. This field is expanding fast and gaining clinical experience with this population represents a unique professional opportunity. Clinicians who are accepted into this program will benefit from close guidance of a Board Certified Behavioral Analyst and a Licensed Clinical Psychologist.
Ideal candidates should have counseling experience working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other mental health diagnoses and must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a human services field. All applicants must have afternoon and evening availability. Compass offers a positive and professional work environment, training and clinical supervision, flexible scheduling and benefits for full time employees. Hourly rate is based on experience.
