Description
The chief responsibility of a Graphic Designer will be to assist in the prepress production and layout for printed carton graphics for consumable products.

Responsibilities:

Must have efficient design and time management skills to see packaging projects through from concept to completion, on time and under budget
Expert eye for consistency, no detail is too small or insignificant
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must be able to function alone and also in a team oriented environment
Experience in platemaking a plus
Successful applicant will be able to perform digital prepress functions to prepare files for a full color offset press
Assists in the development of layout and design for printed carton graphics
Assists in platemaking and quality control as needed
Responsible for preparing final artwork and sheet layout for printing department

Requirements:

Associates or Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field
Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator and Photoshop
Experience in packaging design or prepress setting strongly preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite software in a MAC setting
Working knowledge of proofing and color separations
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
